Ramon Rivera, age 100, beloved husband of the late Celina Rivera, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, June 2nd. Ramon was born in Puerto Rico on August 31, 1920 to the late Manuel and Carmen Perez Rivera. He moved to Connecticut in 1952 with his wife and raised his family. Ramon worked as a machinist for Contract Planting Company. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family. Survivors include his children: Ray Rivera of Beacon Falls and Wilfredo and his wife Raquel of Milford, six granddaughters: Linda (Joe) McMahon, Cheryl (Bob) Rivera, Laura (Troy) Hillman, Nicole (Neil) Noey, Dawn Rivera and Erica Rivera, ten great-grandchildren: Michael (Chloe) Rivera, Danielle and Joey McMahon, Michael and Alexander Dontas, Santina and Luca Ciampi, Jace Noey, Cooper and Michell Hillman. Ramon is predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Marcie Rivera, and siblings, Amado and Carmen Rivera.
