Ramon Joseph Kotovsky, Sr.
Ramon Joseph Kotovsky, Sr., age 87, of Lake Oconee in Greene County, died Friday, February 21, 2014. He passed away peacefully in Nokomis, Florida with his daughter, Debbie and husband Ron and his son, Tom and wife Dar by his side. Born in Chicago, Illinois on June 2, 1926, he was the son of the late Joseph Kotovsky and Lillian Jeske Kotovsky. After high school he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard, proudly serving his country During World War II from September of 1943 until March of 1946. On January 15, 1949, he married the former Emily Lucille Jindra in Chicago, Illinois. He and his wife retired from the Suburbs of Chicago in 1993 to Lake Oconee where he enjoyed fishing, boating and hanging out with kids and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty years, Emily Jindra Kotovsky in 1999; two sons, Joseph Kotovsky and Ramon Kotovsky; granddaughter, Crystal Kotovsky; and a sister, Darlene Zajac. Mr.
