Ramon Cintron, 77, of Hackensack, NJ, and Allentown, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Elsie Oliveras, with whom he shared over 53 years of marriage until her passing on November 27, 2019. Born in Almacigo Alto, Yauco, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Juan Andres Cintron and Dominga Caraballo Casiano. Ramon attended school in Yauco where he made lifelong friends and enjoyed math and metrics. He was enlisted in the military for a short time in 1965. Shortly after Ramon began a career in sheet metal fabrication and eventually became Blueprint Programmer for the industry at Hamilton Electronics in Hackensack, NJ. He was employed with them for over 50 years. He enjoyed shooting pool, playing dominoes, watching baseball, playing the guitar, and keeping up with his grandchildren and the latest video games. He was also an avid collector of diecast model cars.
Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his children Migdalia Cintron of Pocono Summit, Arlene Vargas and her husband Jose of Allentown and Ricardo Cintron of Allentown; siblings Maria Luisa Caraballo (Viva), Haydee Cintron (Desi), and Iris Rodriguez all of Puerto Rico; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Ramon was preceded in death by his siblings, Maria De Los Angeles Caraballo (Angela), Angel Alfonso Caraballo, Ana Dilia Caraballo, Nagereli Caraballo (Nery), and Consuelo Caraballo (Chela).
