Ramón A. Torres, 59 of LaSalle, passed away January 14, 2013 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Mr. Torres was born August 26, 1953 in Puerto Rico to Hilario and Delia (Rodriguez) Torres. Mr. Torres was an avid sports fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a wonderful grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Toni Torres of LaSalle; five children, Ramón (Casey) Torres Jr. of LaSalle, Delia (Cory) Bryson of Mendota, Joshua Wear of LaSalle, Autumn (Joseph) Trujillo of Mendota and Robert (Betsy) Lucas of Cedar Point; seven grandchildren; his mother, Delia Rodriguez Torres of Puerto Rico; brothers, Junior (Zorida) Torres of Chicago, Juan (Norma) Torres of Oglesby and Antonio (Judy) Torres of LaSalle in addition to several other brothers and sisters back in his homeland of Puerto Rico and numerous nieces and nephews. He was received at heaven’s gates by his father, Hilario Torres; one son, Chris Lucas; one grandson, Noah Trujillo and one brother, Juan B. Torres. Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
