Ramiro De Leon Jr., age 26, of Rio Hondo, Texas, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021. He was born December 1, 1994, in Harlingen to Ramiro Sr. and Anna Huerta De Leon.
Ramiro was a 2013 graduate of Rio Hondo High School where he was a proud member of the Jr. ROTC Program. He was currently employed as a medical assistant at the RGV Spine & Neurosurgical Institute. Ramiro was a big hearted, kind young man, who was always thoughtful of others. He loved his family dearly and with his giving heart there was nothing he would not do for anyone in need.
Ramiro is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Maria De Leon; paternal grandparents, Juan Francisco De Leon and Anita Garcia De Leon; and maternal grandfather, Noe Huerta Sr.
He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his loving father, Ramiro De Leon Sr.; maternal grandmother, Maria E. Huerta; uncles and aunts, Noe Huerta Jr., Marivel Garza, Lupita Villanueva, Elvira Pollack, Frank De Leon, Jesse De Leon, Beatriz Garcia, Oscar De Leon, Gilbert De Leon, and Ben De Leon; his best friend, Irma Trevino; along with numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
