MULBERRY – Ralph Waldo Starr, Jr., 83, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014, as a result of acute leukemia.
Mr. Starr was born June 16, 1931 in Tampa, FL. He and his family moved to Mulberry in 2002. Mr. Starr was employed by CSX Transportation for over 40 years where he served as a clerk. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 256, the Scottish Rite and the Egypt Temple Shrine.
Mr. Starr was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Starr and his granddaughter, Jennifer Starr. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Freida Starr; sons, Eddie Starr and his wife Sandy, Johnny Starr and his wife, Liz and Rusty Starr and his wife, Patti; step-son, Richard Hampton; sister, Elizabeth Willis; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
