Ralph Silvers passed away peacefully of natural causes on October 27, 2015 at 76 years old.Ralph was born in Dalton, Georgia on August 25, 1939 to Edward and Gladys (Corn) Silvers. Ralph attended Valley Point High School where he met his high school sweetheart and future wife, Rebecca Elizabeth Jackson. They were wed on November 10, 1956.

Ralph worked in a carpet mill manufacturing carpet in Dalton, Ga. In 1966, the family relocated to Cocoa, Florida. Ralph was employed by TWA at Kennedy Space Center and later by Florida Power & Light. He relocated in 1974 to Martin County Florida and worked at the FPL Nuclear Power Plant under construction at that time as a mechanic, retiring at age 54 in 1993.

Ralph was very knowledgeable in a range of fields, especially mechanics, repairing personal vehicles and doing home maintenance. Ralph had a love of reading including Western novels, mysteries, etc.

Ralph was predeceased by his sons Kenneth Neil Silvers, Darren Lee Silvers, his wife of 58 years, Rebecca Silvers as well as his parents and brothers Raymond, Edward, and Ronnie. Ralph is survived by his daughter, Marianna (Silvers) Weldon, daughter-in-law Anna Marie Silvers, grandchildren Jason Derrick Sanford, Anna Coleen Thompson, Weston Lee and Thomas Silvers. Great grandchildren include Nathan and Chase Thompson, Dylan and Eli Sanford, Abigail and Madison Silvers.
