Ralph S. Vescio passed away peacefully on July 15, 2015, at age 83, in his home in Scottsdale, AZ. He was a Niagara Falls, NY native born on May 29, 1932 to Ralph and Gaetana “Ida” Vescio. Ralph was the youngest of 4 children; his sister Grace and two brothers: Anthony and Peter.
He spent his youth playing upright bass in a Jazz band throughout Western NY and Canada. He later attended Bowling Green University where he played football. His ambitions to become a dentist lead him to the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry where he would become a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1959. He would later open his own practice in Syracuse, NY where he lived with his family for many years.
Ralph is survived by 5 children; Leanne, Alicia, Melinda, Chip and Vincent. His eldest daughter, Pam, passed away in 2006. He also has 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is also survived by his beloved dogs; Penny and Lucky. His family was everything to him.
He would move to the Phoenix, AZ area in 1989 and continued to practice Endodontics for another decade until retiring in Scottsdale, AZ.
We will miss his love, his heart, and his mischievous sense of humor. The man could light up a room.
