He was the dad to daughters Tonya Amerson – who passed in 2015 and Christina Amerson, the Papa to granddaughters Regan, Megan, and Tegan Payton, and the brother to Melissa Luffman (Jeff) and Timmy Amerson (Robin).
He had a big love for Auburn and fought a good fight.
