Ralph D. (Pete) Peters, 81, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully at Superior Residences of Niceville on Aug. 14, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born in Corning, Mo., and spent his youth on a farm in northwestern Missouri. He liked sports and played football, basketball and baseball at Fairfax High School. After high school, he served four years in the Air Force during the Korean conflict. Pete retired to Bluewater Bay in 1988 following a successful career in retail management. He was constantly working around the house and yard. Pete was an avid golfer and particularly enjoyed the leagues at Bluewater Bay.
