Ralph “Lou” Rose, 81, of Churubusco, passed away on January 14, 2021, at his home.

Born in Logansport, on January 19, 1939, to the late Russell and Mildred (Nead) Rose.  He spent his formative years in Logansport, graduating from Onward High School of Tipton Township.

After high school he served in the National Guard until 1963.

Ralph was married to Marilyn Rohrer on August 14, 1983.

He retired from Norfolk & Southern in December of 1989, where he worked as a Chief Dispatcher.

Ralph was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and Coast to Coast Resorts.

He always strived to live Romans 10: 8-11.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 37 years, Marilyn Rose; his son, David Rose; a daughter, Sharon Rose; two step-sons; Khris Royer and Scott Royer; two sisters, Mary Wilburn and Janice Kay; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Beatty; two sisters, Charlotte Becthal and Phillys Burke; a brother, Roger Rose; a step-son, Thomas Royer.
