Gallman, Ralph J.

On June 20, 2020. Jack passed away at age 70. He is the beloved son of the late Ralph and Margaret Gallman, cherished brother of Joyce Nellenback and her husband Leon, Jane Davis and her husband David, John Gallman and the late Peggy Eddy and her husband Everett. Jack was also blessed with many loving nieces and nephews.

Jack enjoyed bowling, playing chess, and going to double header baseball games at Memorial Stadium in downtown Baltimore. He and his sister Joyce shared an interest for Trivia and watching the tv show Jeopardy. They would also often go see musicals together. He is very much loved by his family and church family will be missed by all who knew him.

Do not stand by my grave
and weep.  I am not there.
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am a diamond glint on snow.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning
hush, I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand by my grave and cry.
I am not there…..I did not die

We give them back to you, O Lord
who first gave them to us; yet as you
did not lose them in the giving, so we
do not lose them by their return.  For
what is yours is ours also, if we belong
to you.  Love is undying, and life is
unending and the boundary of this
mortal life is but a horizon, and a horizon
is nothing, save the limit of our sight.
Lift us up, O God, that our sights
may see further.  Cleanse our eyes, that
we may see more clearly.  And while you
prepare the place for this departed soul,
prepare us also for that happy place,
that we may be with you, and with
those we love, forever.
