Ralph George Davenport, 95, died in the early morning hours of October 30, 2022, under the loving care of MorningStar Senior Living and Blue Bird Hospice. He lived independently at home until he fell while out walking the end of August. Ralph was born to Clifford and Helena (Egts) Davenport in Toledo, OH, on March 15, 1927. He was married to the love of his life, Donna Ruth Kibbey, for almost 68 years.

Ralph enlisted in the army the day after his 18th birthday, March 16, 1945, was in communications and spent his enlistment in Korea. He worked as a test driver for Willys Overland Jeep for a time. They moved the family to Southern California in 1961, following other family members. Ralph loved his children instilling a strong basis of faith in Jesus Christ, a solid work ethic and a sense of humor and fun. He worked 32 years for the Department of Water and Power, Los Angeles, then did a two-year stint as a contract driver for the Post Office, finally retiring at age 72. The couple moved to Boise, ID, in 2007, to be closer to one of their children.
