Ralph F. Festa, a lifelong New Haven resident passed away peacefully on December 20, 2010. A son of the late Silvestro and Antonetta Franco Festa, he was born in New Haven on October 1, 1922. During WWII he served in the Air Force, stationed in England. Upon his return he attended UCONN and graduated with a degree in accounting. For most of his career, he was employed as the comptroller at National Lumber Company. For over 25 years he was a co-owner of Grower’s Liquor Store in Hamden. He leaves his sisters Susan, Josephine and Rita Festa, three nephews Eugene S. (Amy) Zuffelato, Joseph M. (Kathy) Tirollo, Anthony S. (Wendy) Tirollo and many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters Angelina Tirollo, Mary Zuffelato and Immaculata Festa and one brother Alexander J. Festa.
