Ralph Edward Croushore, 78, of Greensburg, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Latrobe Hospital. He was born September 27, 1942 the son of the late Arthur Ralph Croushore & Anna Henry Croushore. Ralph graduated in 1960 from Hempfield High School and joined the United States Air Force as an Air Policeman. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam (Benoi Base and Cameron Bay) guarding B-52 bombers before being honorably discharged. He worked at Bell of Pennsylvania (Verizon) and retired from there in 1991 after which he began his own business installing telephone systems. Due to his declining health, he retired again in 2019. Ralph was predeceased by a brother Robert Arthur (Jane) & infant brother James. Surviving are his loving wife Carol (Bolam) Croushore; two sons, Jon Thomas Croushore (Kerri) and Jeffrey Scott Croushore; grandchildren, Zachary Andrew Croushore (Kristi), Jacob Anthony Croushore, Kaci Alexa Croushore & Rachel Ann Croushore. He is also survived by his sister Rheta McLaughlin (Norman) of Dillsburg and brother Ronald Croushore (Cindy) of Pittsburgh & Florida; a brother-in-law Larry Bolam (Kim) and many nieces and nephews. Ralph was a member of St. John’s Harrold Reformed United Church of Christ and served as a choir member, consistory officer, Sunday school teacher and was presented the honor of Elder Emeritus. He also was on the board and kept records for the St. John’s Reformed Cemetery. Ralph loved his church and his church family. Ralph made friends wherever he went. He would be talking with someone and when asked who the person was, he would say “I don’t know…I just made a new friend”. Ralph would do anything for anyone and wanted to help whenever he could. He will be missed very much by many. We love you.
