Ralph E. Eichenberger, 91 of Lakeland, Florida, passed away on July 18, 2015. He was born in Freeport, Illinois to parents Hans and Lydia (Webber) Eichenberger. A former resident of Saginaw, Michigan he moved to Florida with his family in 1983.
Ralph proudly served in the US Army during World War II, including the battle of Normandy. Upon his discharge from the military he started his own Heating and Air Conditioning business in Michigan and later moved the company and his family to Florida where he continued to come to work every day even after he no longer drove himself. He was a life member of the Gideons.
Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Pauline of over 50 years, his brother Kurt, and one grandchild.
He is survived by his daughter Linda Brackett, sons Dave and Tim, his brother Glenn, his sister Martha McGlashen, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
