He was a Field Representative for Guide Lamp Division of General Motors after 30 years of service. Ralph served his country in the United States Navy.
He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Randy Dollens daughter, Teresa Greg Graham, Deana Moody; step-son, Tymothy Shelby Neathery; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and 2 nephews also survive.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Geneva Carter; wife, Betty Carter; sister, Joella Hodge, and brother, Wilbur Carter.
