Ralph Ernest Bormann, the son of Lorenz and Julia (Thilges) Bormann, was born on July 31, 1946 in Algona, Iowa. On August 3, 1984 Ralph was united in marriage with Melanie Mogler in Algona. Ralph worked as a farmer. He enjoyed spending time with his family, attending auctions, and his grandchildren. Left to cherish Ralph’s memory is his wife of 35 years, Melanie of Algona; children, Pamela Bormann of Algona, Becky (Douglas) Godfrey of Algona and Jeffery Bormann of Algona; 4 grandchildren, Dylan, James, Jaxon and Elisabeth; 2 brothers, Leo (Irene) Bormann of Lu Verne and Alvin (Patricia) Bormann of Lu Verne; and a sister, Edna Kirsch of Bode. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister Beatrice Capesius.
