Ralph Acie Hershman, 62 of Stevensburg, WV passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 at PineRidge in Kingwood. He was born December 11, 1953 in Grafton, son of the late Acie and Virginia Marie “Kate” Alford Hershman. Ralph attended Fellowsville-Denver School. He was a member of the First Christian Apostolic Church and he loved listening to Rev. Ray Frankhouser preach. Ralph lived and worked in Baltimore, MD for several years. He was a member and retired from the Operating Engineers Local #37. He loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Ralph is survived by daughter, Valerie Lynn Hershman and her mother, Diane Hershman, and daughter, Teresa Losh both of WV; two granddaughters, Lilly Auna Frances Hershman, Sierra Losh; one grandson, Zachariah Losh; five sisters, Bettie Booth, Joppatowne, MD, Dottie Clarke and husband, Steve, Alexandra, MN, Patsie Bolyard and husband, Buster, Stevensburg, Nancy Farrell and husband, Bernard, Newburg, Kathy Conn and husband Keith, Fellowsville; one brother, Jack Hershman, Stevensburg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by one son, Ralph Acie Hershman Jr.in 1988, one granddaughter, Jacie Alannah Oiler in 2006, two sisters, Judy Ann Hershman in 1980 and Sue Sypolt-Ward in 2007; loving companion Leona Moxley in 2014.
