Ralph Abruzzo Norwich – Ralph Abruzzo, 57, of Penobscot St. died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 at the Norwichtown Rehabilitation Center in Norwich, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born in Norwich, February 8, 1955 son of Lena (Ruggerio) Abruzzo of Norwich. and the late James J. Abruzzo. Ralph worked and as a Painter with the Painter’s Union Local#1122 for many years. Mr. Abruzzo was a collector of antiques and collectables. On September 27, 2008, Ralph was united in marriage to Emma Demonte in Lisbon, CT. Mrs. Abruzzo survives her husband. In addition to his wife and mother Ralph is survived by two children, Christopher James Abruzzo of Griswold and Nickolena Abruzzo of Montville, two sisters Rosalie Barry of Niantic and Margaret Peringer of Quaker Hill, one grandchild, Nicolina Welch of Montville and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
