Ralph A. Paolillo, Jr., 70 of West Haven, passed away on Jan. 21, 2010, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer; born April 15, 1939 in New Haven, son of the late Ralph & Antoinette Capasso Paolillo. He is survived by his wife Hazel Cornelius Paolillo, daughters Robin Lynn (Michael) Holland of MA, Dawn Paolillo, A.J. (Gary) Palermo of Orange , Kori (Michael) Zielinski of Milford, brothers Louis J. (Carol) Paolillo of Milford & Anthony J. Paolillo of W.H.; grandchildren Nicholas, Zachary, Kacey, Alex, Cameran, Jesse, Nathaniel, Tyler, Emily & Riley and many loving nieces , nephews & cousins. Ralph retired in 2009 after 27 years as the Community Development Manager for the City of West Haven. He graduated from East Haven H.S. in 1957, St Anselm College in 1962. He was an all state selection in basketball from E.H. in 1956 & 1957 , M.V.P. in Class B Tournament in 1957 & a 4 year starter at St. Anselm. In 1989 he was inducted into the E.H. Hall of Fame and in 2004 was chosen one of Greater New Haven’s 25 best H.S. basketball players. Ralph was a member of his beloved “Gents” of E.H.
