Rafael “Ralph” Ramirez, age 57, of Highland, IN passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 10, 2014.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Kimberly; son Rafael, Jr., daughter Veronica (Matt) Howe, and step-daughter Allison (Jon) Bonansinga; grandsons Roman Howe and Calvin Bonansinga; parents, Francisco and Josefina Ramirez; brothers Jose and Frank (Lisa); sisters Martha (Peter) Sandoval, Susan, and Grace (Raul) Aguayo; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ralph was employed by Arcelor Mittal as a crane machinist for 36 years. He was an avid Black hawks and Bulls fan, and enjoyed playing golf, ballroom dancing and vacationing in Mexico.
He will be remembered by his family and friends for his generosity, patience and thoughtfulness.
