Rae Hamilton Youngblood, 61
Okeechobee – Rae Hamilton Youngblood died December 6, 2021. She was born October 14, 1960, in Walton, New York. A resident of Okeechobee for more than 40 years, she was an avid NHRA fan and went to many races, both professional and amateur. Her favorite place to be was the beach. She loved the east and west coast beaches and collected seashells along the way.
She was known as BayBay to not only her grandchildren, but many of her friends and family who referred to her that way also. She loved her children, but her grandchildren were her world! She helped many people in various ways, from taking in children that were not her own, to rescuing animals from the shelter, to always making her home open to whoever needed extra love.
Ms. Youngblood was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Bruce Hamilton and Peggy (Conklin) Hamilton; and her sister, Amy Hamilton Bosley.
She is survived by her sons, Cody Weber (Ashley) and Cameron Youngblood (Ana); daughter, Tracy Huff (Chad), all of Okeechobee; grandchildren, Caylie, Haylie, Kalissa, Jenna, Michael, Aria, Evelynn, Aalakai, Aaliyanice, and Aadilyn; sisters, Denise Weideman (Ian), of Charlotteville, NY, and Dianne Yunker (Don), of Herford, NC; nephews, Dan Pindar, of Schenevus, NY, and John Riggs (Angela), of South Kortright, NY; and niece, Jennifer Riggs Albano (Frank), of Stamford, NY.
