Rachel Ye Kim, 50, of Commodore Place entered into eternal rest on Wednesday January 14, 2015 after a long and difficulty battle against brain tumor. Rachel was born on March 25, 1964 in Inchon, Korea, a daughter of Dong Sup and Hae Soon Ye.
Rachel was an ordained United Methodist pastor and served the Mid-Hudson Korean UMC, Port Washington UMC, Washington Korean UMC, St. Paul’s UMC, Shady UMC, and St. Andrew’s UMC. She is survived by her husband Rev. Gye Ho (Tom) Kim and two children Jonathan (14) and Elizabeth (12) and a host of other relatives and friends.
