Rachel Louise Bell, 75, of Lakeland, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2022 at Bridgewalk on Harden Nursing Home in Lakeland, FL, from Dementia. Rachel was born in Jacksonville, Florida on March 19, 1947, to the late Joe M. and Audrey Sheffield.
Their family moved around a bit when she was younger and she graduated from Mulberry High School. Rachel married her Husband Donald T. Bell in 1967. She was a homemaker for most of their 54 years of marriage. Rachel enjoyed painting, fishing, going to the beach and being out in the yard.
Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Donald T. Bell; parents, Joe M. and Audrey Sheffield; sister and brother- in-law, Linda and Tom Smith; brothers, James Alvis Sheffield and Joey M. Sheffield; sister-in-law, Toni Sheffield.
Rachel is survived by her beloved dog Luna and daughters, Joan (Monte) Whisenant of Winder, Ga, Joyce (Ed) Driggs of Lakeland, Tina (Jarrett) Smith of Mulberry; grandchildren, Christina Fante of Lakeland, Kristopher Kory Fante of Lakeland, Holli Fante of Lakeland, Emily (Keri) Martin of Lakeland, Neil Whisenant of Winder, Ga, Ivey Fante of Lakeland, Sara Smith of Mulberry, Haley Smith of Mulberry, and Eiren Driggs of Lakeland; great-grandchildren; Trysten Fante of Lakeland, Logan Martin of Lakeland, Clayton Martin of Lakeland, Adeline Krus of Lakeland, Niklaus Baron of Lakeland, and Rowen Perez of Lakeland; brother, Phil (Susan) Sheffield of Bogart, Ga; many nieces, nephews and cousins
