Mr. R. D. “Bud” Watson, age 87, of Auburn, Al., passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Monarch Estates in Auburn, Al.
Mr. Watson is survived by his son, Ray Darvis (Sue) Watson of Valley; two grandchildren, David and Chandra Watson; four great grandchildren, Josh Miles, Jackson Blanton, Logan Blanton, and Elizabeth Johnson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey E. Watson.
Mr. Watson was born on November 23, 1926 in Cordele, Georgia. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran, serving with the US Army during World War II. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.
