R. Coleen Workman, 73, Newton, Iowa, formerly of Huntington, IN, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at her residence in Newton, Iowa. Mrs. Workman was born September 19, 1939 in Huntington, IN to Vern and Chloella P. (Lash) Heffelfinger.
Her parents preceded her in death. Coleen married Earl Workman on December 31, 1958 in Huntington, IN. He survives and lives in Newton, Iowa. Coleen was a homemaker and enjoyed spoiling her daughter and grand-kids.
Survivors include, in addition to her husband Earl, one daughter, Jennifer (Steven) Gary of Baxter, Iowa; four grandchildren, Chloe, Brandon, Sofia and Sierra; two brothers, Max Heffelfinger and Robert Heffelfinger both of Huntington, IN; a half-brother, Charles Gavin, Crossville, TN and two sisters, Mary (Goff) Miller and Betty (Norman) Bowers both of Huntington, IN and also several nieces and nephews.
