Rev. Quinton R. Waycaster, age 87, of Buford, GA passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Mitchell, and son, Tommy Waycaster.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Betty Jo Moon Waycaster of Buford, GA; children, Jody and Mike Nelson of Mexico Beach, FL, Janie Pettit of Sugar Hill, GA, Jason and Kim Martin Waycaster of Winder, GA; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rev. Waycaster was born on July 11, 1933, in Buford, GA.

He received his education at Gravel Springs School. His career was as a fabricator of sheet metal. He was a mason, a member for over fifty years, and a past master of the Buford Masonic Lodge 292 F.A.M. He was also a member of the Eastern Star-Chapter in Buford, GA, and the Royal Arch Taylor Chapter 48 in Buford, GA. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Statham, GA. He was an ordained Baptist Minister, pastored several churches, and enjoyed going to revival services.
