Quentin Huston died peacefully on December 17, 2017 in Colorado Springs, CO at the age of 75.
Quentin is survived by his wife, Mehrakram Barghi; daughters, Ginger, and Sheila; sons, Quentin, and Jack; granddaughter, Alexandra; grandson, Christopher; great-granddaughters, Jayden, and Hazel-Lynn; brothers, Gerald, and Wyman; sisters, Hester, Menelva, and Louella; and many nieces and nephews.
Quentin was born on September 16, 1942 in Perham, Maine to Gerald Huston and Nellie Huston. Quentin grew up in Norridgewock, Maine and later moved to Massachusetts where he married Edna Cushman in 1966. They chose to move their family to Colorado Springs in 1975. Quentin’s trade was a machinist and he loved to create things out of various metals. From 1983 to 2017, he independently owned and operated Quentin D. Huston & Sons in Colorado Springs. During that time he enjoyed seeing the advances technology has developed in the metal working industry. Quentin’s other hobby was airplanes and he loved being involved with the Confederate Air Force, helping to preserve the aircraft from the WWII era.
Quentin met and married Mehrakram Barghi in 2005 in Istanbul, Turkey.
