Quentin Davis Bourkland passed away on February 11, 2019. He was born to Lillian and Edward Bourkland in Rockford, Ill. on February 5, 1937.  He was the 5th son, born on the 5th day, hence his name Quentin.  He married Nancy Jones on February 13, 1960.

Quent worked 33 years in the Telecommunications Industry, He worked in installation, product development, and sales.  He traveled midwest and northwest territories during those years.  He and Nancy also owned and operated a restaurant for 8 years in Kansas City, MO., and owned and maintained several rental properties. 

Quent retired from telecommunication at age 55. He began a second career in construction, He built two custom homes on Camano Island, WA. with son Craig.  He then began doing remodeling, building decks and tile work on the island,

Quent and Nancy spent 20 winters in AZ, first in Phoenix and then in Yuma at a golf resort.  There he enjoyed golf, working in the mailroom and doing some construction projects.  His hobbies were fishing golfing and RVing.  He was a skeet shooter and active in the skeet organization, serving as president of WA State Skeet Organization one year.

Quent was preceded in passing by his Mother, Lillian, Father Edward, Brother Allan, Sister, Joan, and Sister Barbara. He is survived by his Wife Nancy, Brothers Hugh (Dianne), Ken (G    eorgene), Siblings Doug (Natasha), Craig (Joanna), and Kara (Gregg), Grandchildren Gage (Chelsea) Carter, Gunnar, Kaleigh, Cody, Savannah and Hailey.

He will be greatly missed.
