Prudencio (Prudy) Roblero passed away Friday, December 4, 2015. He was born on April 28, 1924, in Artesia, NM.
Preceding Prudencio in death was his wife, Hortensia Roblero; mother, Nicolasa Sanchez Paz; father, Francisco Roblero and brother, Anastacio Paz.
Prudy was raised by various family members. Prudy demonstrated love for his country by enlisting in the Armed Forces during World War II. After being honorably discharged, Prudy continued to serve people as a salesperson at Kirby’s Shoe Store. He then went to school and became a Barber until he retired. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He was a volunteer at the Joy Center. He loved pets, singing, reading, talking, lounging at the park and working on his beautiful hedges and yard. It was apparent that Prudy loved life, as he was always laughing, telling stories, and dancing. He also liked to cook, especially sopapilla’s and chile.
Those left to cherish his memory are his, sister-in-law, Belzora Paz; nieces and nephews, Laura Paz Villa, Luis A. Paz and wife Sharon Arp and Loretta Judiscak and husband Daniel Judiscak; great nieces and nephews are Ernesto Analla, Marisela Analla, Rudy Joe Romero, Andrew Judiscak, Mario Paz, Alex Paz and Alisha Paz. Great great nephews are Gage and Mason Flores and many loving and wonderful cousins. He will be sadly and dearly missed.
