Priscilla (Pittenger) Hovermale, 85, of Anderson, passed away April 18, 2016 at Community Hospital, Anderson, IN.
She was born May 29, 1930 in Desoto, Indiana and resided most of her life in Anderson. Priscilla graduated from Anderson High class of 1948. She attended Indiana State University where she met and married Robert Hovermale in 1950. She then graduated from Arizona State University. She received a Masters Degree from Purdue Calumet. She taught for Lake Central School Corporation retiring in 1986. She loved to garden and spend time in her yard, she loved watching birds and enjoying nature to its fullest.
Priscilla is survived by her children, Todd (Joan) Hovermale of Anderson, IN, Ann (Lindon) Craig of Muncie, IN, sister, Helen (Mike) Evans of Chico, CA, grandchildren, Jincy Moore, Zachary (Laura) Hovermale, Alex Craig, great-grandchildren, Evan Hovermale, Atlas Hovermale, and Rowan Moore. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Robert Hovermale, mother, Lucile Pittenger, father, Ronald Pittenger, a sister Barbara Birckhead, and a brother Dan Pittenger.
