Priscilla Elaine Coleman Blow was born on February 22, 1940 to the late Thelma Wright Harris Shackelford and Thomas Coleman. She departed this life on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in Houston, TX.
She attended Decatur Negro High School where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Mr. Robert Glass. She confessed Christ in her
life at an early age and joined St. James C. P. Church under the leadership of the Rev. W.E. Scott.
She was a very fun loving person and made many friends. She loved people. She loved to travel to different states. After retirement from Regional Hospital, she moved to Ypsilanti, Michigan. Later in years she made her home in Austin, TX to be near her son, whom she loved with all her heart. When her health failed, he and his wife Conswella, took very good care of her.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents; grandfather, Mr. Josh Wright; her stepfather, Mr. Johnny Harris; a sister, Connie B. Mosley; a grandson, Rickie Blow Jr, and an uncle, Mr. Egbert Peebles.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a son, Ricky L. Blow (Conswella); five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four brothers, Leon Harris (Dianne), Johnny Harris (Sherry), Michael Harris and Gregory Harris; three sisters, Mary Mosley, Brenda Carthen (George) and Lucy Ann Wynn (Terry); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
