She is survived by her son, Harry Sterling (Wilhemeina “Tinnie” Smith) Sanders, Buford, GA; daughters, Latonya (Jason) Barnes, Donta Rachel Sanders; grandchildren, Mikaiah, Jaylen and numerous other grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Ayden and Kashton Sanders and other great-grandchildren; brothers, Henry (Phyllis) English, Lula, GA, Louis (Taing) English, Buford, GA, Kerry English, Hampton, GA, John (Bella) English, German; sisters, Annie Dunahoo, Mattie Singletary, Buford, GA, Stella Anubus Majors, Birmingham, AL, Henrietta B. Mrs. English was born February 17, 1948 in Buford, GA.
She attended Buford High School. She also worked as a supervisor at Pineisle Resort at Lake Lanier and went on to Foster Parent for Creative Community Services and then retired from Gwinnett County Senior Center. She fostered several children and friends. Miss English’s heart extended to all in need and she opened her home and kitchen. She instilled love in all that she met. Her legacy will be remembered by all who knew her. She was a member of Union Baptist Church since an early age.
