Sgt Princeton Laverne West 78 of 874 Boone Road died Monday April 26, 2010 at V.A. Hospital in Durham. Born in 1931 in Harnett County Mr. West was the son of the late William Henry and Ethel Jones West.
He served in United States Army during the Korean War, Married to his best friend Mildred Brock for over 57 years, raising their four children in a Christian home. Mr. West made White Oak Baptist Church his church family. He worked faithfully for many years at Carroll’s Foods in Warsaw as a construction Manager and was a master welder. Mr. West was preceded in death by a brother, William Earl West.
