“Pres” is preceded in death by his youngest son Douglas Anthony Amidone Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Julia Sharon Jones, and his children Preston Wade Jones, Kimberly Evelyn Jones, Phillip Steven Jones, Tracy Michelle Gamberdell, and Jeffry Allan Jones. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Preston Jones, Stephanie Jones, Lorissa McAllister, Nicholas Gamberdell, Alex Gamberdell, Ashley Adkins, Makenzie Jones, Morgan Pearson, and Madison Pearson. He leaves behind 5 great-grandchildren.
“Pres” was a strong man who valued hard work, honesty, and loyalty. He was a skilled builder and craftsman, an astute businessman, and tireless provider. He was always a pillar of strength, and ready to offer advice and wisdom to anyone who asked.
Known as “The Mayor” of Ayres Lane Road, “Pres” was respected and admired by his community, and loved by his friends and family. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
