Our beloved Prescilla Marsh Miller was born April 19, 1954 to the late Ben Alonzo and Annie Belle Marsh in Lisman, Alabama. She was raised in the community commonly known as Marshtown, which is the legacy heritage in Choctaw County, Alabama. She was reared and baptized at an early age in Gilfield Baptist Church in what was then known as Pushmataha, Alabama. Prescilla was educated through Choctaw County Training School in Lisman and graduated from high school at Choctaw County High in Butler, AL. she continued her education, graduating with a bachelors degree from Alabama A&M University in Huntsville. She started her professional career as a school teacher in South Choctaw County but later joined the United States Postal Service in Detroit, Michigan. She retired from the postal service working in Montgomery Alabama after 33 years of dedicated service.

Prescilla, affectionately also known as Baye, was loving, hardworking, fun-filled and family oriented. She enjoyed family, laughter, casinos, singing & traveling. She also played a fierce card game and enjoyed watching The Game Show Network.

Her brothers, Roy Ruffin and Jerome Anthony Marsh preceded Prescilla in death. She leaves to cherish her memory, her one and only son, Jason Donyell Miller and her precious granddaughters, Jasmine and Jayla Miller in Montgomery, AL. Prescilla also leaves her siblings, Rosie Marie (Hubert) Sawyers in Detroit, MI; Jeanette Wevauhn (Allen) Myers in Detroit, MI; Barbara Faye Marsh Lewis in Birmingham, AL; Malvester Marsh Cooper in Clanton, AL; Zetrius Deleon Marsh in Ellenwood, GA; Emmanuel Dwight (Pamela) Marsh in Lithonia, GA; Jacquelin Marsh Slay in Decatur, GA; Angelo (Felicia-deceased) Marsh in Raleigh, NC and Reva Warrena Marsh in Jonesboro, GA. Additionally, Prescilla leaves to cherish, love and miss her – an uncle, John W. Ridgeway (Dora), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
