Salem Porter Wayne Adams, 74, of Salem died Friday, April 30, 2010, at Brightwood Center in Follansbee. He was a son of the late Ocie M. (Snowball) and Lucy G. Young Adams. He was born February 8, 1936 in Gilmer County, WV. He was married to Mary Frances McKinney Adams who prededed him in death. Also predeceasing him were two sisters, Tulsa Persinger and Melba Carroll ; four brothers, Hayward Young, Ira D. Adams , S. Nelson Adams, and Ronnie Adams. Surviving is one sister Tressie Adams of New Martinsville, WV. and several neices and nephews. Porter served his country in the United States Army. He loved to fish, play his guitar and sing, and was Protestant by faith.
