Porfirio Antonio Vides Ramos, age 78, of Laurel, Maryland passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Inova Fairfax Hospital. He was born on February 10, 1937 in Guatemala the son of the late Maximiliano Vides and Vicenta Ramos. He served in the Guatemala Army and was a retired plumber. Survivors include his wife, Flora Ochoa de Vides; one son, Maynor Antonio Vides Ruiz; four daughters, Brenda A. Vides Ruiz, Jenny M. Vides Ochoa, Veronica R. Vides Ochoa and Glenda I. Vides Ochoa; one brother and six sisters; seven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
