He was born in the city of Bonao, Dominican Republic on September 5, 1959. Porfirio was always a happy person who enjoyed the little things in life. At home he was the one in charge of celebrating the important days, always bringing with him a piece of his roots so that we would never forget where we came from.
Surviving family members include his wife Maria Paez de Jimenez; children Juan Jimenez, Emerlin Jimenez and Ana Jimenez; many loved grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
