Pitsy Blanche Chapman was born October 20, 1934, in Hobart, Oklahoma, to Earl Reneau and Thelma Lovejoy. She passed from this life June 1, 2022, at the age of 87. The family moved from Oklahoma to New Mexico when she was 10 years old. Pitsy married Fred Chapman in Roswell, New Mexico, in 1953.
Pitsy is survived by her four children: Barbara Thompson (Carl), Gail Randolph (John), Paul Chapman (Cindy) and David Chapman (Glory); her nine grandchildren: Michael Thompson (Michele), Bradley Thompson, Christine Airozo (Aaron), Eric Thompson, Catherine Zepp (Phillip), Lauren Shreve (Patrick), Molly Chapman, Ashley Barton (Joshua), and Jacob Chapman; her six great grandchildren: Gerek Thompson, McKenzie Thompson, Colton Thompson, Sierra Thompson, Brynlee Thompson, and Patton Zepp; and three great-great grandchildren: Ford Willard, Olivia Thompson, and Lillium Leschke.
Pitsy is preceded in death by her husband Fred Chapman, her granddaughter Alana Chapman Norwood, her sister Billye Fox and brother Courtney Reneau.
