Ping Chik (Paul) Chow of Meridian, Idaho, passed away on October 23, 2008 at the age of 84. Born in the Guangdong Province of China, Paul began a lifelong career in the food business, first as a cook for traveling militia and later as a baker in Hong Kong. Paul, his wife and children moved to the U.S. in 1971, residing in Arizona and California before settling in Ontario, Oregon in 1975. The family owned and operated Jue’s Far East until retirement in 1994.
A man of great integrity, kindness and sensitivity, Paul will be dearly missed by Doris, his wife of 53 years; children, Barbara, Victoria, Jim, Karen and Tina; and grandchildren, Melissa, Neil and Felicia. The family will greet friends from 10-11 a.m.
