DURHAM- Mrs. Phyllis Moss McGhee, 74, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Duke Regional Hospital.
Mrs. McGhee was born December 6, 1943 to the late Robert and Victori Moss in Durham, NC. She was an operator in telecommunications at GTE where she retired with over 40 years of experience. Mrs. McGhee will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. McGhee is preceded in death by her husband, Tyree Wayne McGhee; parents, Robert and Victori Moss; sister, Delores Bullock and Norma Oldham.
Mrs. McGhee is survived by her sons, Gregory Wayne McGhee and wife Sherry of Creedmoor, NC, Patrick Shaun and wife Kara of Rocky Mount, NC; daughter, Teresa Sharyn McGhee and companion, Jackie Spivey of Mebane, NC; brother-in-law, Charles Edward McGhee; three grandchildren, Zachary Wayne McGhee, Gregory Ryan McGhee, Trinity Erin McGhee, Brody McGhee; aunt, Patricia Rigsbee Teasley; uncle, Wallace Rigsbee.
