Phyllis H. McCoy of Shelton, a graduate of the University of Michigan and beloved widow of Frank L. McCoy, died on March 4, 2005 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was an avid bridge player at the JCC and the senior centers of Shelton, Monroe, and Easton; she had many wonderful times with her “bridge buddies.” A source of great joy to Phyllis was her much-loved cat, Clancy. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Melissa Davies and her husband John, Amy Stultz and her husband Bill, Michael McCoy and his wife Irene. She also leaves behind her precious grandchildren Jessica Davies, John Davies, Jamie Stultz, Kathy Mitchell and her husband Lloyd, Marianna Sheehan, Geoffrey McCoy and his wife Jennifer, as well as dear great-grandchildren Carter and Courtney McCoy.
