Phyllis Hayden, 80, of Daleville, passed away on March 12, 2020, at her residence. She was born on October 21, 1939, the daughter of Bob and Freda (Sloan) Freestone. Phyllis loved to play euchre, riding horses, and going out to lunch with her friends, but most of all, being with her grandchildren. She retired from Delco-Remy Division of General Motors after 30 plus years of service.
Phyllis is survived by her loving husband, whom she married June 4, 1960, Max C. Hayden; son Max V. Hayden (Dana); grandchildren, Colton (Rhaea) Hayden and Matthew (Brittany) Hayden; great-grandchildren, Silas, Corbitt, and Merritt Hayden.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
