Phyllis Lorraine Frailey was born on March 6, 1942. Her mother was Geneva Marie Turner who was born in Bedford, Wyoming. Her father was Antone James Brown who was born Howe, Idaho. She attended school up to the 10th grade in Idaho Falls High School. Phyllis married William Thompson and had a son and daughter then divorce, and then married to Jerry Miller moved to Nampa, Idaho, and had daughter. Later on they moved back to Coeur d’Alene, and divorce. She then moved to Alaska for a year for a job in a daycare and came back to Idaho Falls again. She worked at Lifecare for about 4 years and then she had her last son. A few years later, she and her son moved in with her parents and was then a caregiver for her son and parents. Around 1995, Phyllis started fighting for her health. She started with diabetes then breast cancer. She was able to fight off the cancer but had to go on Dialysis soon after. She did that for 4 years. Last November, she found out that she had cancer in her tonsils. Again she fought that cancer off too. In July 2014, she was emitted to ERIMC. She fought for her life again there due to her not being able to go to dialysis. While in the hospital she found out that she need a heart valve transplanted. She decided to do it and was transfer to Salt Lake City to get the surgery done.
Two weeks after the surgery, Phyllis passed away on Saturday September 6, 2014 at 10:09 pm at The LDS Promise Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah due to lobar pneumonia or inflammation of the lungs with congestion. Her favorite hobbies were camping and lots of different crafts. She was survived by two daughters; Thelma Jones of Biloxi, Mississippi and Yvonne Lynn Hiaring of Idaho Falls, Idaho; two sons; Albert (Julie) Thompson of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Jeff Frailey of Idaho Falls, Idaho along with nine grandchildren and four plus one on the way for great grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Ralph Archibald Brown.
