Phyllis L. “Bill” Stoner, 90, of 183 Stoner Lane, Linden, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.
Phyllis’s husband, Leroy F. Stoner, died on February 8, 2000.
Phyllis worked for the former 20th Century Bakery, was a life member of the former Linden United Methodist Church and attended the one room Martin schoolhouse in Linden. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing, cutting grass on her John Deere mower, the love of life and her animals.
Born Oct. 14, 1920 in Larryville, she was the daughter of Harold and Grace Clark Marshall.
Surviving are a daughter, Debra E. (Thomas) Young of Linden; a step-daughter, Belinda M. (Jack) Lindsay of Newville; a brother Robert (Nancy) Marshall of Pine Creek; grandchildren, Christopher (Tammy) Young of Trout Run and Ellen (Ricky Shaffer) Young and Laurie Young both of Linden, step grandchildren Beth and Bryan, great grandchildren Dylan, Alexis and Madison and step great grandchildren Keenan, Kiana and Ruanne.
Phyllis was predeceased by brothers, Clifford and Roscoe Marshall.
