Phyllis Jean (Walborn) Stillwell, 88, of Mesa AZ, formerly of Lostant, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at home. Phyllis was born in 1928 in Spring Valley to Harold & Lena (Barto) Walborn.
She was a graduate of Hall High School. She married George Dale Stillwell on November 27, 1952 at St. Anthony’s Church in Spring Valley. Phyllis worked for many years at Westclox and later was a realtor in the Illinois Valley area. She is survived by her husband, George of Mesa, AZ; a daughter, Lori (Bob) Hines of Mesa, AZ; a son, Alan Stillwell of Scottsdale, AZ; a step-daughter, Irene Cripe of Streator; four grandchildren, Marcus Hines, Brittney Stillwell, Rick Cripe and Jennifer Pottala; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Sharon (Tony) Rosalia of Peru; a niece, Kim (Shawn Artlip) Stachowiak of Rockford and a nephew, Jan Stachowiak of Costa Mesa, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Charlene Stachowiak.
