Phyllis Jean (Moore) Bengtson, August 20, 1935 – February 1, 2017, passed away peacefully in the care of Water’s Edge in Middletown. Phyllis was born in Dayton, Ohio and was the daughter of her late step-father, Carl Bennett and mother, Evangeline (Snyder) Bennett of West Carrolton, Ohio. Phyllis graduated from Fairmont High School in Kettering, Ohio. She worked at National Cash Register (NCR) in Dayton, Ohio, and then transferred to Middletown in the late fifties where she met her loving husband of 48 years, the late Warren L. Bengtson. They raised two sons alongside of family and friends.
