Phyllis Jean Meyer, 93, of Rensselaer, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Parkview Haven Retirement Home.
She was born on December 9, 1927, the daughter of Herman and Ida (Quasebarth) Honegger. Phyllis married Francis R. Meyer on February 1, 1947 and he preceded her in death on January 4, 2005. Phyllis attended and completed her education at the Francesville Public Schools. She enjoyed being a homemaker and managing her household. She enjoyed playing bunko with friends and family. She also loved to cook and garden and kept herself busy around her house. Phyllis was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Marcia (John) Reid of Laguna Niguel, CA and Susan (Lewis) Hooker of Rensselaer, IN; siblings, Ronald Honegger of CO and Kathy Manion of Monticello, IN; grandchildren, Lauren Reid, Amanda Reid, Devin Hooker, and Casey Hooker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and one son, Russell Allen Meyer.
